About: more than ten years of e-commerce
We are a company from Lahti, Finland, that grew out of e-commerce and now brings AI into everyday business regardless of industry. We run our own stores across several markets and have built the systems around them that do the repetitive work for us. The same methods work in any company where the same work repeats.
Where we come from: more than ten years of e-commerce
The company grew out of e-commerce, and that work continues today: more than 20 online stores on four platforms, dozens of brands, more than 100 million euros’ worth sold through our own stores and more than a million parcels shipped. Along the way:
- Our own general online store for the Finnish market. Here we learned to source, advertise and deliver products profitably.
- Distribution of international brands to new markets. A brand unknown in the target country was taken to market with a package of online store, advertising, customer service and logistics, in several European countries, each in its own language.
- A traditional brand of our own. We acquired a Finnish craft-heritage company and took it online and into Europe.
- Marketplaces and multichannel. Selling on marketplaces alongside our own stores, and measuring what it actually earns.
- Logistics from Finland to Europe. Our own warehouse in Lahti and negotiated carrier contracts, so stock doesn’t have to move to central Europe.
- Customer service and marketing in our own hands, in each market’s own language.
The stores we run today: our online stores. The same expertise as a service: e-commerce services, Shopify and Amazon in Europe.
Why AI
When the same weekly task repeats often enough, it either gets automated or it starts to dictate where the time goes. We built the first systems for our own needs: pricing across markets, a quality guard for product data, campaign production from verified sources, a daily task list drawn from data. They are in use today. Through them we learned what AI actually succeeds at and what it doesn’t, and that is the expertise we now sell.
How we work
Every method is battle-tested in our own companies and across several lines of business before it reaches a client. That is why:
- Bottleneck first, tool second. We don’t start from a model or a platform but from whatever costs the client the most.
- A person checks before production. The system produces a draft or a proposed decision; a person approves it until trust has been earned by measurement.
- Every number is traceable. A figure produced by AI isn’t a figure until it has a source and a validity period.
- We say what we can’t promise. It is cheaper than promising and failing.
Three promises
The client owns what we build. There is no monthly fee unless the client wants one. Cost efficiency is a design principle, not a sales argument. These apply to every project, and they are spelled out on every service page.
