Selling on Amazon in Europe
More than ten years of selling ourselves
We have sold in Europe for more than ten years through our own stores and marketplaces, and run logistics from a Finnish warehouse to several countries. The Amazon service is that experience applied to your products, not consultants’ slides but a working channel we have built and kept running ourselves.
The problem
Amazon in Europe isn’t one decision but a thicket of decisions and obligations, most of which appear only after the account is open: choosing marketplaces, VAT registrations in the target countries, Germany’s LUCID packaging register and extended producer responsibility (EPR) for packaging, WEEE obligations for electrical and electronic equipment, product-specific battery requirements, country-specific producer responsibilities, compliance documentation, listing requirements and logistics from Finland. That list is exactly why many companies never start on their own. Compare it with your own situation, every item on it is familiar to us.
Four ways to start
- Amazon potential assessment. A data-based analysis of demand, competition, competitor pricing and possible sales volumes across marketplaces, before anything is built. The most natural first step: the market research and competitor analysis use the same tools we use in our other AI projects.
- Test sales as a reseller. Your products on sale through our existing channels, without opening your own seller account or building integrations. A low threshold and fast, real demand data.
- Logistics from a Finnish warehouse to Europe. Competitive carrier contracts already negotiated, so your stock doesn’t have to move to central Europe.
- Building your own Amazon sales channel. The whole launch project in your name: Seller Central, marketplace selection, VAT and tax requirements, LUCID and packaging EPR, WEEE and battery obligations, country-specific producer responsibilities, compliance documentation, listings and product data, pricing analysis, logistics, integrations with your store and ERP, and sales monitoring and reporting.
What you own
The seller account, the registrations and the compliance documentation are in your name from the start. Product data, listings and integrations stay with you. If we part ways, the channel stays and keeps working, the same promise as in all our services.
What we don’t promise
- A fast launch. The timeline runs from a few weeks to several months depending on the product, your company and the markets. Registrations and authorities set the pace, not us.
- That every product belongs on Amazon. The assessment may conclude it isn’t worth it, and that is its most valuable result.
- Binding tax or legal advice. We tell you which obligations exist and run the process, but binding interpretations come from your accountant and the authorities.
